2020-2021 Reopening Plan Summary
The Berlin Township Board of Education will meet on Monday, August 3, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. virtually using both ZOOM and you Tube live due to Governor Murphy’s Executive orders and social distancing requirements. Board members and public participants may watch/listen the to the August 3, 2020 meeting by joining virtually on YouTube. If anyone needs further assistance in attending the Board meeting, please contact Ms. Amy Berth, firstname.lastname@example.org for help.
Prior to the start of the August 3, 2020 Board Meeting, a link to the YouTube Live Stream will be placed on the district web site www.btwpschools.org. Click the link to view the meeting.
Directions can be found below:
- The link will be available 1 hour before the meeting on the District’s website.
- Click the link on the web site about 10 minutes before the meeting time.
- The Live Stream will begin promptly at 7:00 PM
There will be no comments on the stream, this has been deactivated.
The Board of Education will conduct its business, as usual, including two opportunities for public comment. If you have a comment during either public comment section, please submit your comment in writing on August 3, 2020 after 12:00 noon and up to the starting time of the meeting, 7:30 pm, to the Business Administrator, Megan Stoddart at email@example.com. The first comment section is for “Agenda items only.” Your email must state your name and address for the record, and your comment. Your comment will be read by Ms. Stoddart to the board members and all those viewing/listening to the meeting at the designated comment time. Your emailed comment will become a written portion of the board meeting minutes. Please read the directions for all public comments as listed on the agenda.
During the Board discussion under the “New Business” section of the agenda, the public is invited to submit additional comments on the discussion or other non-agenda items for the Second Comment section which will take place after the New Business Section of the meeting. Your email must state your name and address for the record, and your comment. Your comment will be read by Ms. Stoddart to the board members and all those viewing/listening to the meeting at the second designated comment time. When the meeting concludes, the host will end the meeting and you will be disconnected. Official action may be taken at this meeting.
